Beauty industries are generating a lot of plastics. From Shampoo, lotion, to cosmetics, they all come swathed in plastic. After the usage, consumers tend to throw out the packaging, implicating the environment.

The booming $500 billion per year global personal care industry relies on plastic.

That shampoo? Housed in a plastic bottle—often fully or partly unrecyclable.

The issue of packaging waste is an enormous problem across everything we buy.

So the challenge—cutting back on, or eliminating plastic packaging entirely—is not a small one.

As our targeted audience are young and consistently updated on social media,

we decided to create mother nature as a beauty influencer to look up to. She is similar to any beauty

blogger that has already existed, but mother nature focuses on eco-friendly products and creating her

own beauty products by using her natural resources around her.

In partnership with Adeline Soo.

Here is our case study video.

Here are some of the behind the scenes.

Adeline, my partner had to "sacrifice" her hand and turn it into green to fit the mother nature concept!

I painted her skin, and proceeded to add in leaves that we plucked off somewhere downstairs.. (hehe)
